Punta Cana is a planned luxury gated community that is a mix of subdivisions or neighborhoods. Each neighborhood has a distinction. The resort features two golf courses, beach club, spa, tennis center and gym, hiking trail with cenote and a farm within the gated community. The community also features several hotels and bars among the vacation homes.
Corales
Corales is the most prestigious and exclusive of the Punta Cana neighborhoods. The neighborhood offers the largest lots and many of them are large beachfront estate owned by celebrities and VIPs. The private air terminal is adjacent to Corales as well as their top rated golf course the Tom Fazio Corales golf course. The estates are usually over an one acre of land.
Arrecife
Arrecife is located adjacent to Corales along the oceanside. The lot sizes are smaller than Corales. Lot sizes vary between 1/3 and a half acre. The division is considered the second most prestigious behind Corales. The homes are located along La Cana golf course and the Beach Club. The beach club features a beach and restaurants.
Tortuga
Adjacent to Arrecife on the ocean side is the next neighborhood of Tortuga. The villas in this area are on lot sizes of 1/3 and tend to have more overall density. Guests can easily access the La Cana Golf and Beach Club as well as Tortuga Bay hotel for dining.
Hacienda
The Hacienda neighborhood is defined as the hillside estates. The neighborhood is located on the other side of the main boulevard that bisects the gated community. Homes are on about 1/3 of an acre lot and conveniently close to the Punta Cana tennis center and gym. The vacation homes tend to offer value pricing.
Marina
Marina is a separate neighborhood that is located about 5 minutes away from the aforementioned neighborhoods, on the other side of a natural reserve park.
There is a marina with charters and excursions and a restaurant in this community.
