Choosing a private lesson means having the chance to learn to snowboard at your own pace, according to your level with multiple possibilities.

- different locations: our ski lessons are offered at 3 sites, each with its own advantages and specificities. Let’s discover them together below:
The very versatile Le Tour area is suitable for both beginners and more experienced snowboarders.
Located at the top of the Chamonix valley (20 minutes by car), it offers a magnificent view of the whole valley and the mountains and it is the least frequented of the whole valley!
Equipped with the largest beginner's area, three drag lifts and several slopes will allow you to progress at your own pace for effective learning.
For the more experienced, you will go up to the Balme area where blue, red and black runs await you! You can even learn or improve off-piste boarding thanks to the great variety of the terrain.
You will snowboard in the Grands Montets area, in the heart of its majestic peaks.
Adapted to good boarders, the red runs are not be lacking in excitement. Grands Montets area is also extremely popular for its off-piste riding.
For beginner adult snowboarders, the Chosalets area is designed to learn in complete serenity, while children will evolve in the snow garden, at the foot of the area.
The Domaine du Brévent, in the heart of Chamonix is the best known but also the most frequented.
They offer a good number of blue and red slopes adapted to different levels. It is a pleasant area for off-piste as well.
Beginners snowboarders will progress at the foot of the Plan Praz gondola in the small Savoy area where there are two ski lifts. (We recommend that you focus on other areas for beginners)Please note: lessons in this area take place every day outside school holidays and only from Thursday to Sunday during school holidays.
Important information:
For private lessons, it is important to respect the following rules when booking:
- 1 to 4 people maximum per instructor (we cannot mix of skiers and snowboarders) that have the same level.
The prices do not include:
- Rental of your equipment: reservations are possible in our partner stores.
- The ski lift pass: this depends on your level and where you go. We are here to advise you.
Arrival Instructions / What to Bring: - The meeting point will be confirmed about the weather conditions and your level. The instructor will contact you the day before to give you every information.
Booking Policy
Full payment is required at reservation.
Booking needs to be made at least 48 hours in advance.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations:
- 20% is non refundable at time of booking.
- Less than 15 days and up to 7 days before the start of your activity: 20% is forfeited plus a 15€ administration fee is applicable on any reservation less than 300€. A 30€ administration charge is applicable on any reservation of 300€ or more.
- 100% forfeited if cancelled within 7 days prior to activity starts.
Change requests:
- Reservation changes after a service/activity is confirmed is subject to a $35 change fee.
Insurance:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The provider shall not be held liable for any harm, injury or damage sustained by any participant during any the performance of any activity. The provider holds public liability insurance which shall only be used and activated when The provider is found to be at fault by a competent court of justice.
The provider does not insure participants during the performance of any activity and strongly recommends that each participant purchases separate individual accident or travel insurance from a company of their choice.
All participants shall be responsible for their own actions and shall take responsibility for their own person and those around them. All participants shall be held fully responsible for any harm, injury or damage occasioned by them to any third party.
All participants accept and acknowledge that The provider’s public liability insurance shall not cover such incidents.
ACCIDENTS
In the event of an accident, the instructor shall initiate and manage the rescue and evacuation procedures until the arrival of the on-site competent authority (piste security, fire brigade, doctor, police,etc.).
The provider shall complete an accident report with the relevant instructor and the same shall be communicated to the injured party.
All costs associated with the accident, including any costs of assistance and evacuation shall be borne by the participant.
In the case of an accident or sickness which prevents the person from participating in an activity, The provider will not provide a direct refund. The provider shall however complete an accident/sickness certificate that should be presented to the participant’s insurance in order to obtain a refund on the activity. It is therefore advisable for clients to inform themselves on insurance options prior to the activity.
