Social Cycle is a 16-person group bicycle, manually powered by its passengers and guided by a designated “captain.” Hop onboard for a fun private group outing or celebration like birthdays, bachelor/ettes, team-buildings - perfect for bar-hopping, sightseeing, or simply enjoying the Palm Springs atmosphere.
This unique ride offers a fun, easy, and safe way to socialize while taking in local sights and enjoying the outdoors.
The entire bike is reserved exclusively for your private group, empty seats will not be filled!
Stops can be made at any bar, restaurant, retail shop, park, etc along Indian Canyon, Palm Canyon, Belardo and the cross streets over these three streets. Plenty of bars and restaurants are located along tour routes, where you can stop off to enjoy both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks of your choice – and support local businesses!*
*Drinks and food at the bars and restaurants are purchased separately. Wristbands are provided to offer discounts at participating partner bars. While efforts are made to work with venues that extend discounts to groups, final discount availability is determined by each establishment.
Note: Captain's Gratuity not included in the rental fee. Standard tipping ettiquite suggests 18-20% tip to your Captain at the end of the tour.

Arrival Instructions / What to Bring:
Meeting point: This tour starts and ends at partners warehouse, 495 Industrial Place Palm Springs, CA 92664, near the SE corner of Indian Canyon and Sunny Dunes.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in.
Bring: Bottled water, Snacks, Sneakers or comfy shoes (High heels and flip flops are NOT recommended), Hats, Sunglasses, Music (each bike is equip with a radio, cd player and hook up’s for phones, ipods, mp3 players, etc), Dress in layers in case you get hot/cold
Additional Notes:
The bike can hold 15 to 16 people. For the private Social Cycle Tour a minimum of 6 people is recommended, though tours have operated with fewer. It is outfitted with 10 seats with pedals, 2 seats above the back wheels, and a bench seat for 3-4 people in the back. In order to have 4 on the back bench, we highly suggest that these be smaller people in order for your comfort! No one is allowed to stand in the middle while moving per city laws.
Please book all members in your party under one reservation
All passengers MUST be 21 & over with a valid ID. Passengers without an ID will not be allowed to ride. ID's are required for insurance company for all ages (even if you are 70!).
No alcohol is allowed on board per CA state open container laws. You are welcome to bring any food and non-alcoholic drinks. No glass please! There is plenty of storage for coolers, bags, purses, etc.
Seatbelts MUST be worn while riding the Social Cycle. Those passengers not wearing seatbelts will be asked to leave and the renter is subject to a $700 fine (The fine imposed by City of Palm Springs to our Captains for unbelted passengers).
Helmets are NOT required, however if you would like a helmet please let us know ahead of time and we are happy to provide one for you.
No jumping off the Social Cycle while in motion. If something is dropped or lost, please let your Captain know and we will find a safe place to pull over for you to retrieve it.
No littering. A trash can is provided on the bike so please use it :)
What if it rains? Social Cycle run tours rain or shine. There is a roof on the Social Cycle that keeps passengers fairly dry. Unless it’s really pouring or there is a severe thunderstorm with lightning, the show will roll on. If it is absolutely nasty out or unsafe to be on the road, we will issue you a refund or rain check. Calling a tour due to weather is up to the discretion of the company/Captain.
The bike averages speeds of 5 to 8 miles per hour maximum.
Passengers must be at least 21 years old to ride, and must sign waiver form to board the Social Cycle. Pedalling passengers ideally should be at least 5’3” tall to be able to comfortably reach the pedals. Shorter passengers are still welcome to ride but are encouraged to take a bench seat.

Full payment is required at reservation.
Booking needs to be made at least 48 hours in advance.
Cancellation Policy
Full refunds are granted for cancellations made at least 31 days or more.
For cancellations made with 30 days or less notice, we will grant a rain check to use at a later time.
No refunds or rain checks/rescheduling will be given for any cancellations within 14 days of a scheduled PUBLIC tour.
No refunds or rain checks of any kind will be given for cancellations within 7 days of a scheduled PRIVATE tour.
No shows = no refunds, rain checks or reschduling
No shows will be charged 20% gratuity (of the full listed seat price) for the Captains time.
