The tour begins in Aix-en-Provence, or you can opt for pickup in the Luberon area, where you'll meet your friendly local guide at 9:00 am.
Hop into your minivan and journey into the heart of lavender country, heading toward the Valensole Plateau. Enjoy breathtaking views as you travel along scenic roads winding through vibrant lavender fields.
As you cross the Durance River valley, you’ll arrive at the Valensole Plateau—an area renowned for its lavandin cultivation. Along the way, your knowledgeable guide will share the rich history, traditions, and cultural significance of this precious “blue gold.”
Throughout your lavender tour, your guide will stop at the most scenic viewpoints, allowing you to capture the stunning beauty of the lavender fields.
You'll also have the opportunity to meet a local producer who will share his knowledge and passion for lavender and lavandin. It's a perfect chance to learn about the traditions surrounding lavender—its harvest, distillation, and the variety of products made from this fragrant plant.
After exploring the lavender fields, continue to the village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, nestled in limestone cliffs and renowned for its earthenware workshops. Enjoy free time to wander and have lunch at your leisure (lunch not included).
After lunch, your tour continues with a stop at Pont de Galetas, offering a stunning view of the breathtaking entrance to the Verdon River’s Grand Canyon.
Take a relaxing break at Sainte-Croix, where you can stroll along the tranquil shores of the lake at your own pace.
After a magnificent day, your guide will drive you back to Aix-en-Provence or Luberon Area, with arrival expected around 6:00 pm.

Arrival Instructions / What to Bring:
- If you choose to start from the Aix city center, please arrive min 15 min prior to start and meet your guide in front of the Aix-en-Provence Tourist Center.
- If you choose to be picked up from your accommodation in Luberon area, precise pick up time will be provided at the booking time.
- Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
