The Mangrove paddleboard eco-tour is an excellent chance to explore mangrove islands while learning more about the biology, wildlife, plant life, and chemistry of the aquatic ecosystem. This tour goes through water estuaries in the national park system of Turks & Caicos. You’ll get to connect with nature while paddling through canals with mangrove forests along the side to create pristine water and the perfect environment for wildlife.
This is one of the best ways to experience Turks & Caicos while exploring all of its natural beauty. This tour is the best beginner eco-tour since you get to experience diversity. It is also suited for those of all skill levels as much of the tour takes place in water no more than knee-deep. You’ll head to a small island with hidden trails where a trained guide will point out all the exciting things you can view and take photos of.
Note: We offer paddleboards or double kayaks. Unless we receive a request from you, we will assume everyone is on a paddleboard. To reserve a double kayak, you must have two people in your group for each kayak and you must contact us to request this. Price is the same for paddleboards and for kayaks. The kayaks are tandem kayaks and so it must be 2 people per kayak. The addleboards are large 12F” and you can sit or kneel on them they are very stable and so extremely easy to use.
Arrival Instructions / What to Bring:Meeting point - Walkin Marina
Bring: sun protection - water shirts with full UV protection, and long sleeves suggested, sun screen, water to stay hydrated, inexpensive sunglasses with a strap, water shoes, towel, spare dry clothes.
