Ishq Talpe is a family-operated, relaxed, and personalized luxury villa, superbly situated along the serene coastline of Talpe. The villa, named after the Arabic term for love and passion, is a magnificent 5-bedroom structure. Originally conceived in the 1990s, it stands as one of the island's earliest luxury villas, bearing the signature design of the late celebrated architect Bruce Fell-Smith. Today, the villa seamlessly blends a minimalist design aesthetic with ocean-inspired hues, providing all the comforts of a boutique hotel alongside the privacy and uniqueness of a private villa. The villa features elements of Dutch colonial heritage, high ceilings, breezy spaces in bedrooms and communal areas, large king-sized beds for restful sleep, and comfortable loungers by the courtyard pool perfect for sunbathing. Indulge in calming evening massages on the lawn or leisurely swims to appreciate the stunning sunsets over the Indian Ocean. Dining at the villa features exquisite Sri Lankan and international cuisine, with an emphasis on fresh seafood and locally sourced produce, while a well-equipped games and movie room serves as a perfect family and children's retreat.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
