Spanning 2.5 acres of pristine coastline, Black Urchin Estate is a private, resort-style compound comprised of three exclusive properties: The Coconut Grove Residence, The Grand Palm Residence, and The Palm Estate. Together, they offer 29 bedrooms and accommodations for up to 88 guests, making it the ideal venue for weddings, corporate retreats, or large family gatherings.
The Coconut Grove Residence:

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
Plan your dream destination wedding or special Caribbean event. The villa is available for wedding receptions and special events.
Maximum guests per Black Urchin Residence for cocktail / seated / buffet event: 75 guests
Maximum guests using 2 of the Black Urchin Residences for cocktail / seated / buffet event: 100 guests
Maximum guests Black Urchin Buy Out (all 3 Residences) for cocktail / seated / buffet event: 150 guests
Rental rates:
The villa requires a 5 night minimum to be applicable during High and Low Seasons.
The event fee:
● US $3,500 for up to 30 guests
● US $5,500 for 31 to 50 guests
● US $7,500 for 51 to 75 guests
● US $9,500 for 76 to 100 guests
● US $11,500 for 101 to 150 guests plus 25.90% taxes.
Refundable security deposit: $5,000 security deposit for events
Clients are also required to hire outside caterers/event planners and rent chairs, tables, tents, glasses, cutlery, crockery, etc.
Terms and conditions:
-The villa does not allow unregistered guests to stay overnight.
-Guests are responsible for set-up and clean up of the event.
-The event may not occur within 24 hours of departure. For example, with a Saturday departure guests must hold the event on Thursday or sooner.
-Guests must abide by local ordinances.
-If renting one or two of the 3 Residences, there is a need to be respectful of the rest of the property (as there may be guests staying in the other residences).
-Cayman has a 10 p.m. noise ordinance, and the music/DJ must stop at this time. (This is the same as hotel restrictions.) If renting all 3 Residences, then this shouldn't be an issue as the neighboring properties are far enough away to avoid noise issues.
-Any person renting the space for an event must secure outside transportation due to the lack of parking spaces on site.
