Set on a hilltop in the Saint Jean area, the Villa Aya on St. Barts is the definition of a true retreat. With a private garden and mature trees, it has the unique appearance of a quiet island home, and yet it is so amenity-rich that you will be surprised by the number of features you discover.
Designed for up to four guests, it provides a tremendous amount of space, and only enhances that sense of light, sky and sea air through the use of such classic features as high ceilings, a neutral palette, natural materials, and dashes of darker color in some of the furnishings and fixtures.
With a great room at the heart of the house, you will be able to stylishly prepare meals in the luxury kitchen. Adjacent to this is a casual dining area and this opens directly to the comfortable living room with its entertainment center and plush furnishings. This entire space is open to the terrace area where the elegant plunge pool is found. Lined with natural stone and surrounded with comfortable furnishings, it is a wonderful destination.
There is also a gazebo under which an al fresco dining area is found, along with a barbecue. Here you will want to sip your morning coffee and watch the sunrise or toast each sunset as it dips beneath the hills.
The two bedrooms provide visitors with privacy, as they are located at either end of the villa. Each has an en suite bath, ocean views, and large beds.
