At five king-sized bedrooms, five baths (en-suite), and immaculately kept outdoor gardens with ample walking paths, Libellule is a veritable castle on the ocean, albeit a modern one. The decor is light and sleek, with modern clean lines in warm wood and gray tones accented with bohemian driftwood lamps, round ship’s-cabin wicker accent mirrors, and a generally minimalist feel that leaves the natural lighting and open spaces to speak for themselves.
The main floor maintains a large main living area that opens on two sides to a walk with a low, slate-stone parapet that leads to an outdoor garden terrace complete with a lilly pond and fountain. The living area itself has a high-vaulted ceiling with ceiling fans that blend into the colonial whitewash wood. White, wooden-slat storm shutters offer texture in contrast to the clean lines of this immaculate villa. The main dining area is situated beside a Jacobean-style arcade of archways that open the floor up to the lilly pond terrace. A gazebo peeks out of the palms near the main house, where you can go for a private walk at sunset or hors-d'oeuvres.
Three bedrooms with their own balconies and outdoor access are also on this floor, while two more bedrooms/bathrooms are on the lower level. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, vanity, Apple flat-screen television, shower, bath, air conditioning, and balcony with seating or outdoor access. Each is distinctly decorated as well with ocean-blue accent curtains in one, sandy ocher accent curtains in another, and slate tile in the third, all with a personality as distinct as those of the family and friends that Villa Libellule is equipped to entertain.
Outside is a walk down a small winding path to the large pool area with a shaded poolside bar and kitchenette, ideal for catered events with our partners in gourmet food. Welcome provisions, a top-class concierge service, rental car delivery, in-house spa services, and a daily maid service except Sundays and Holidays, allow a transition from real life to vacation to be so seamless it will hardly seem like you left home. - Cancellation Policy: For cancellations greater than 61 days prior to arrival, 30% of gross rental rate is forfeited. For cancellation between 60 to 31 days of arrival, 55% of gross rental is forfeited. Cancellation less than 30 days, 100% of gross rental is forfeited. Please note all Christmas and New Years reservations are non-refundable.
