Mango

We were a group of 8 renting the Villa for 10 days (4 couples) in mid-November. Overall it was a great experience, and I'd highly recommend it to those who are visiting the Orient Beach area of St. Martin. Some specific thoughts below:

a. Lots of room for 8 people. The kitchen and living room areas of the Villa are large, easily allowing for 6-8 people to cook meals or enjoy coffee in the morning. There's a table for 6 indoors, and a table for 8 outside on the patio. Three of the 4 bedrooms are very generously sized, with plenty of room to move about and store clothes. We found the beds to be very comfortable. The bathrooms are similarly quite large, allowing for two people to get ready at the same time. The 4th room is self-standing on the road side of the Villa. While private and quaint, it is significantly smaller than the others - just be aware of that.

b. The Villa, especially the kitchen, is stocked with virtually everything you need. Wow....tons of cooking utensils, glasses, plates, knives, etc. A Nespresso coffee machine as well as a drip coffee machine. Induction stove top. Microwave. The list goes on. There's a very nice bluetooth speaker to connect to, which can be used indoors or moved to the patio for use. There are many pool noodles and floats to use. There are many beach towels to use. The outdoor gas grill works great. Bring less clothing than you think, because the maid service will wash your clothing for you, if you so choose. Bottom line: a very well furnished Villa.

c. The walkability score is very high. It's a 10-minute downhill walk to Orient Beach and the stores / restaurants there. Unless you're going to the Super U grocery store for a major stock-up, you can get almost everything you need at the market by the beach. Good Morning Cafe has excellent pastries in the morning. The restaurants and beach bars have everything you need. If your goal is to go to a Villa and drive around as little as possible, Villa Mango fits the bill.

d. Service. Our concierge was Marius, and he did a terrific job for us. From helping to make reservations, to answering general questions, etc. etc., Marius was there to help us immediately. Nathalie was our housekeeper, and she not only kept the place spotless, but she also washed and folded your clothes if you simply left them in the dirty clothes hamper. Outstanding.

e. Privacy. The street the Villa is on is very quiet, and there's a minimum of street traffic traffic. Your views above, below, and to the sides are well-protected, so there's a feeling of isolation and privacy.

f. Location. Excellent - very easy and fast to travel to the supermarket, to go over to Grand Case or Marigot, and into Phillipsburg. We loved it.

We had a fabulous time at Villa Mango, and I wouldn't hesitate to go there again.

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances à la villa Mango. La maison est luxueuse, décorée avec gout et fonctionnelle. La vue sur Orient Bay est incroyable. La piscine est grande et permet de nager. Le service de conciergerie est très efficace. Le ménage est fait régulièrement et Nathalie s'occupe également du linge. Charge mentale au minimum pour des vacances reposantes! Allez y les yeux fermés.

Meilleure vue possible sur la plage de la baie Orientale avec une magnifique terrasse et une tres grande piscine. Grand comfort moderne avec un style tropical, et des suites luxueuses et bein isolees, qui garantissent la tranquilite pour tous. Zone provilegiee avec acces securise, et systeme d'alarme moderne. En resume, luxe et grand comfort spatieux et une vue inoubliable!

This was the 3rd year in a row to stay at Mango. This year's new umbrellas/lounge chairs were very much needed and welcomed as well as keeping the cushions on the patio inside the villa when not used helps to be able to enjoy the beautiful view while dining outside and fend off the mosquitoes. We look forward to the return next October!!
Mary Patti and Kate at St Martin Blue are wonderful. Always a pleasure to work with them. Vic at Thrify rental always makes me feel welcome!

Wow! The view was out of this world. Isle Pinet to the left and St. Barths to the right and Orient Beach in the middle. The villa itself was great as well. The living room was fantastic and it had great bedrooms. The only comments I would make is there could be more pool furniture with umbrellas and the stove top was tricky to figure out. I hate even saying that because the villa was so lovely in every way
St Martin Blue Services were Fantastic. Wonderful check in and follow up call from St. Martin Blue. We will use you from now on!

The villa met our expectations and we enjoyed our stay. we were able to walk to the beach and restaurants, and the view was spectacular. overall, it was very well maintained...St Martin Blue exceeded our expectations and was a pleasure to work with.
