Villa Azur Dream, St Martin. As soon as you step through the iconic island stone wall with its arched door and paved courtyard beyond, you will know that the Villa Azur Dream was the ideal choice. This seven-bedroom gem is found at the western end of St. Martin, and has been fully restored and modernized to ensure it is that perfect balance of island-style and contemporary comfort and luxury.
Situated in Morne Rouge and gazing out at the Terres Basses area, it is surrounded by private gardens and grounds, including mature plantings and palms that sway soothingly in the breeze. A perfect escape for a large group of friends or as a family gathering place, it provides a surprisingly opulent array of onsite amenities. There is a free-standing gazebo at one end of the grounds and it is furnished with modern exercise gear as well as non-stop views. There is an expansive pool terrace that includes a wooden sun deck with modern four-poster sun beds as well as the large pool.
Framing one side of the pool is the terrace where al fresco living and dining spaces are located. A large, outdoor lounge serves as a transitional space between the interior and exterior, and there is also an open bar off the terrace, too. In fact, the lines between the indoor and outdoor spaces become easily blurred, and visitors will love spending time making food and drinks in the open, gourmet kitchen that is part of the great room. Nearby is a casual dining area, but there is also a formal dining area with seating for 14 or more. There is a large TV lounge area as well.
The bedrooms are located at upper and lower levels and four open to the terraces or private balconies. All feature king beds and ensuite baths, with a master suite offering a sitting area just off the terrace.
