It is one of the most romantic and picture-perfect homes inside of the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve at Riviera Maya. The villa is right on a jungle dune and comes with a bevy of amenities to offer privacy and comfort to amaze and delight visitors.
Casa Yakunah has tons of shared and private space and enough bedrooms to accommodate up to 10 guests of all ages. There are five bedrooms, each of which is equipped with an ensuite bathroom with a shower and vanity. Four out of the five bedrooms have king beds, while the last has a comfortable queen. All bedrooms also feature extras like personal safes, ceiling fans, televisions, and wireless Internet.
There’s no need to pick up a finger for guests who stay at this villa. It comes with a variety of staff who are happy to please. There is an on-call property manager, a pool person, and a gardener to take care of questions and keep the grounds looking great. A butler can help with many tasks, while a housekeeper visits every day of the week. The villa even includes a personal chef who cooks three meals a day as well as providing snacks and beverages for vacationing guests.
One of the most unique features of this villa is its low impact design, created to draw nearly all of the needed energy from the surrounding environment. Solar power, rain power, and wind power are used to create the power to offer guests all the most modern amenities in a natural environment packed with wildlife and greenery. Guests can enjoy a lot of the outdoor wonders with the villa’s close access to the beach. There is an alfresco dining area, a private dock, and paddleboards and kayaks for those who want a bit of adventure.
The large pool at Casa Yakunah is located on the rooftop terrace and includes a lounging area with several chairs and sunbeds for guests. There is also a lower terrace on the ground floor where guests can hang out and take in the views or enjoy a meal outside. While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.

Terms and conditions:
The villa does not allow unregistered guests to stay overnight. Overnight guests are restricted to 2 guests per rented bedroom and must be declared. Guests are responsible for the set-up and clean-up of the event. The event may not occur within 24 hours of departure. For example, with Saturday departure guests must hold the event on Thursday or sooner. Guests must abide by local ordinances.

Due to Sian Ka’an being a protected reserve, it is not permitted to bring external ATVs, water sports equipment such as kiteboards, or audio equipment. It is also forbidden to fish, in order to protect the endangered sea life. Additionally, pets are not allowed.
It is also important to note that roads in Sian Ka’an are unpaved and therefore distances and times may vary depending on the season and road quality/conditions. Four wheel drive vehicles are required.
