In addition to quick access to the beach, Casa Maya Ka’an also features immediate access to Caapechen Lagoon. The area near the villa offers guests the opportunity to indulge in exciting saltwater fishing including tarpon, permit, and bonefish. In a location of protected beauty, guests can take in birds like the frigate, the tri-colored heron, and the roseate spoonbill in their natural environment among the mangroves. Float trips, kayaking, and fishing can all be accommodated for an extra charge.

The villa is spacious with 3,875 square feet of space, modern furnishings, air conditioning, and ensuite bathrooms for every bedroom. The owners have furnished this property using Oaxacan fabrics and traditional woods to create a space where families can come together and make happy memories together. The home includes dozens of amenities, including wireless Internet, a Wii, Sky television, an Xbox 360, and a DVD player with a selection of films.

There is a gourmet chef’s kitchen designed for intimate gatherings or large special events. The open concept between the inside and outside combines the kitchen, living room, dining area, common spaces, and the terrace so all guests can have a good time while being in close contact with their friends and family members.

Upstairs at the villa are three master bedrooms to choose from. The first has a sitting room, a king bed, and a built-in sofa that can be used as an additional sleeping space. The sitting area has a large television that rotates into the sleeping area. A built-in desk sits under the spacious window with fantastic views of the Caribbean. The ensuite bathroom features a soaking tub and a rain shower. There is also a vanity with two sinks under a window facing the ocean.

Each of the other bedrooms has two queen beds and large sofas for extra sleeping space. Each has a private bathroom with a vanity with two sinks and a shower. Up to six people can sleep in each of the bedrooms along with another three in the master suite. It’s the ideal vacation spot for a close family on a Mexican vacation.
